The first private space capsule Crew Dragon flew in space from Cape Canaveral and onboard, together with astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley there is virtually Andrea Avaldi. Thanks to the engineer, Alumnus of the Politecnico di Milano, there have been made a lot of special features of the new capsule, built in Los Angeles by the Company SpaceX founded by Elon Musk, creator of Tesla.
He had been made responsible to design of the structures of the capsule, which were designed to resist to the stress of the Spaceship Falcon 9 on which the astronauts are travelling, and which has been launched at the speed of 27 thousand Kilometers per hour. Once in orbit, the capsule has detached from the spaceship and reached the International Space Station, to which it latched.
This challenge is the last of the many activities that Andrea Avaldi has realised but the one he desired the most. Since he graduated (read more about it here), he begin to explore more possibilities creating a company with the engineer friend Fabio Bressan where he designed structures for competing speed boats and thanks to his design they almost were suspended on waves. He has designed the futuristic hull of Luna Rossa and of the swedish boats Artemis partecipating in three competion of the American Cup

La generale tendenza all’acquisto digitale, nel B2C, ha registrato un incremento del 300% in pochi mesi. Per quanto riguarda il B2B, le reti commerciali non hanno più potuto contare sul loro strumento principale, il contatto fisico tra commerciale e cliente. Ma, se è vero che la pandemia di Coronavirus ha accelerato vertiginosamente alcuni profondi cambiamenti nelle abitudini di consumo, è altrettanto vero che questi cambiamenti erano già in atto da anni nel processo di interazione tra impresa e mercato. In che modo le imprese italiane possono cogliere questa opportunità per acquisire un vantaggio? Una riflessione sul marketing multicanale e sull’integrazione strategica di touchpoint fisico e digitale, pensata su misura per il contesto italiano.
Durante l’evento l’Alumnus Giovanni Rossini, Phd del Politecnico e COO e CO-Founder di Artiness, illustra le attività della startup, già incubata in Polihub e vincitrice del premio ‘Action for 5G’ di Vodafone: supporto procedurale da remoto per le operazioni chirurgiche. Grazie alla realizzazione di modelli 3D i medici possono prepararsi all’intervento con il supporto della realtà aumentata, riducendo dunque il tempo e l’invasività delle procedure mediche
Durante l’evento organizzato dal Gruppo internazionale AlumniPolimi Parigi, Tiziana Bardi, professoressa del Politecnico, ha confrontato la situazione italiana e francese nel settore food & retail, l’impatto che il Covid-19 ha avuto su questi settori e le possibili soluzioni e nuovi approcci, che possono essere attivati.Andrea Lazzari, Responsabile Sviluppo Commerciale Francia di Impresa Percassi ha parlato dell’impatto del Covid-19 nel settore edile e di come possano essere organizzati dei luoghi di lavoro in sicurezza. L’esperienza dell’azienda nella gestione della sicurezza nella zona di Bergamo si è in seguito rivelata utile nel condividere le best practices con i colleghi francesi e nel riaprire i cantieri in sicurezza anche nella Fase 2.

There is a lot to be done to build a better world.”
The Politecnico has been commissioned to study possible trajectories and the best strategies to observe and identify dangerous objects as soon as possible and promptly release a shuttle in the best direction and at the best speed to achieve the most effective deviation compared to Earth’s trajectory.
