Politecnico di Milano on the front line to defend Earth from the risk of an asteroid impact

The Politecnico has been commissioned to study possible trajectories and the best strategies to observe and identify dangerous objects as soon as possible and promptly release a shuttle in the best direction and at the best speed to achieve the most effective deviation compared to Earth’s trajectory.
